Hi and welcome to the May 2010 E-Newsletter from www.TheConcertStage.com. What a concerts year it is shaping up to be and we are only four and a half months into 2010.

The Elders at the IAHC

The Elders at the IAHC

In April my friend Jim and I ventured to the Irish American Heritage Center to see the Elders. The Elders played in the new Erin Room at the IAHC and it seemed like a private party. This was a great setting to see the Kansas City based band perform their brand of Arse Kickin' Celtic music. Jim took the opportunity to take some pictures and has graciously allowed me to post a gallery. We had a great time at the concert and enjoyed meeting the band and other Elder fans after the show.

Chicago Celtic Fest

The City of Chicago has moved the annual Celtic Fest from September to May. They also moved it from Grant Park to the new Millennium Park. They made the move in the hope to save the city money during these tough economic times. While the festival was smaller they still had some first class bands. The Scottish band Bodega and Canada's Vishten performed excellent traditional sets while the Elders rocked the pavilion. I have posted galleries by Vishten, Coastal Rhythms, Bodega and the Elders.
